Are You Starry Ide?
Introducing Starry "Ide" - A series that is all about you. All of your quirky personality traits, flaws and interests sitting on top of your (possibly checkered?) background. My Background
I grew up on the top of a hill surrounded by farms. I received a degree in Electrical Engineering. I'm compelled to merge these two truths into my artwork.
My Medium
I use acrylic paint on plywood board. Most boards are 20"x 30" but I've been known to change that up from time to time. The paintings are finished with a light coat of varnish on both sides. You may have noticed that the boards have holes in them. Or maybe the holes have board around them?
My Inspiration
Barns, Rockets, French New Wave films, any Brian Eno related music or musicians , lavender (both the plant and the color), Vespas, Black Labs, Southwestern food eaten in a dusty cantina, falafel sandwiches eaten from a truck and the 60's British TV series- The Prisoner.
